I'm starting this pretty close to 22:00, but I do have the time between when I feed Heidi and when Gail starts "burying" her food. I'll try to keep it brief regardless:

  1. It's day three of my overhaul and I've done well on the days so far. Nights need a bit more work, though the reason for my 23:00 bedtime last night was...
  2. I looked up a ton of airline prices, and found good deals for erish's wedding, which is really fortunate since it's only three weeks and change away.
  3. Today I discovered that Southwest one-way fares can be booked both ways, thus giving me no-stop flights to Seattle on October 23rd (I'll be arriving just after noon) and back to ABQ on October 26th for about half what any other airline wanted to charge.
  4. I made the commitment of hours for Kitty City today; 17:00 to 19:00 M-S and 15:00 to 17:00 on Sunday. Myrtice is aware that Andy getting home late or my being out of town might effect this. She is thinking of rewording the KC sign to say "<my hours> on most evenings".
  5. Tipper (one of the tiny kittens) was adopted by the folks who adopted his brother Boomer on Saturday. Frisky, the only one left from that litter, is back at KC.
  6. There is no entry #6!
  7. We got one or two new kittens today. A woman came by and said she had found one, but was afraid to take it home because her dog has killed cats before. I gave her Myrtice's numbers. Just before closing one of the store employees came in and said we had a new resident -- someone dropped off the kitten and said they had seen another car toss it out in the middle of the road. It's a cute little black and white shorthair, and is currently in the cages we use for the Saturday events, since we don't bring new felines into the City until they've tested negative for the nastier diseases and have been fixed.
  8. Andy is going to get 20% off of Borders purchases later in the month. So far I have on our to-buy list:

    • Babylon Five Season 3
    • Monty Python and the Holy Grail extended edition
    • Monty Python and the Life of Brian
    • Monty Python and the Meaning of Life
    • Monty Python's And Now For Something Completely Different
    • Q In-Law audio tape, performed by John DeLancie and Majelle Barrett
    • Weird Al Live

    As well as possibly:

    • The Cowboy Bebop movie if it's available there
    • Any and all Muppet Movies available on DVD
    • Red Dwarf
    • Some subset of the Stargate TV series

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I also have some books I'll be pouncing on, and something tells me I might want to grab some music, I just can't remember what.
